Stormveil Castle Guard – New Tarnish Observation Report – Day 22
We have received word from the front gate. Our great lord, Margit, The Fell, is no more. Clearly, we underestimated the threat posed by this latest Tarnished to enter our realm.
Her first few days were spent wandering aimlessly. She could barely muster the courage to fight one of our soldiers, and when she did, she died.
Had she immediately challenged our Tree Sentinel upon exiting the Cave of Knowledge, we could have better measured her abilities, but no, instead she hid in the shadows, avoiding combat whenever possible, dashing through our defenses on her spectral steed. We’ve had reports that she has named and knighted this beast; she calls it Sir Mix-a-Lot, a curious name.
When she finally did challenge the Sentinel, she defeated him in a record number of attempts, especially for one so seemingly inexperienced in combat. By the time we realized what was happening, it was too late; our other commanders in Limgrave quickly started falling to her sword: trolls, golems, beastmen, invaders, a burial watchdog, and the Leonine Misbegotten.
We tried to warn Margit, the arrogant fool, but he wouldn’t listen, and here we are, and now she’s been embraced by the denizens of the Roundtable Hold. Our spy within tells us she goes by the name of Shaw. I recommend we redouble our defenses, she will be here soon enough.

Shaw defeated the red dude outside Murkwater Cave with the help of a golden dude that appeared out of nowhere. Inside the cave, she fought and defeated, but did not kill Patches. Shaw has an aversion to killing people who are begging for their lives. He seemed like a friendly chap.
