With the two-headed dragon dead, and the Frenzied Flame removed, it was time to part ways with the Crumbling Farum Azula, and that meant a boss fight. Only one thing stood in Shaw’s way, and that was the goddamn Draconic Tree Sentinel guarding the sallow mistwall. She tried fighting it a few times, tried to cheese him, but it was just too much hassle, so she just ended up running past him.
The boss itself was kind of bullshit, with a relatively easy first phase that was Gurranq Beast Clergyman. I say relatively easy, but Shaw died the first time by accidentally falling of the edge.

The second phase that was this fucking guy: Maliketh, the Black Blade.

Shaw died 3-4 times fighting him before looking up his attack patterns on YouTube and defeating him on the next try. From the following screenshot you can see that the Mimic Tear still had half their health. In all previous attempts, the Mimic Tear always died before Shaw. What’s that you ask? Why not attempt a boss without the assistance of a spirit summon? Fuck that.

A confusing cutscene followed. First there was whatever the fuck is happening here.

And then this, which did not look like a good thing?

The denizens of the Lands Between seemed as confused as Shaw.

Looking like the Mystics from the Dark Crystal.

Anyway, all that fighting had taken a lot out of Shaw and she was ready for a much deserved nap.
