Having probably finished,
Charting the Siofra River,
Shaw decided to explore all the nooks
And the crannies
Of Stormveil Castle.
She hopped down
And around
A smattering of ledges and battlements.
She swiftly sauntered
Down some stairs and
Nimbly strode across flying
Buttresses in an escheresque courtyard.
She made her way deep
Into a gloomy and
Lugubrious basement,
Fighting rats amongst
The broken statues of
Long-forgotten tarnished.
She defeated a fearsome beast,
On her first try,
No less, and
Without the assistance of ashes or summons,
Not that she had much choice in the matter.
Once the monster was felled,
She noticed the contours of
A colossal face
On the cavern floor,
Seemingly melting from the walls.
From the darkest depths of the keep,
She then climbed the tallest towers.
And rested a minute,
To take in the quiet solitude of these lofty heights.
Returning to the Roundtable Hold,
She chanced upon Hewg,
Kneeling in prayer.
Once the smith
Regained his composure,
Shaw convinced him
To mentor Roderika.
And thus Shaw’s ashes
Of summon were
Now upgraded.
